COMPANY HISTORY
Fairway Supply Inc. was founded in 1980 by Don Bradford
along with two other employees. The primary focus of the company was and
still is to provide quality products, competitive pricing and unequaled service
to the security hardware industry.
The company’s original location was a 12,000 square foot
warehouse in northwest Dallas. We immediately expanded our warehousing facilities
in 1981, by opening a 17,000 square foot location in northwest Houston. Two
years later, in 1983, we purchased a 36,000 square foot, state-of-the-art
warehouse and office facilities in which the Dallas headquarters were
relocated. In the summer of 1998, we opened our third location in north
Austin. This newest branch allows us to serve the Texas market with
overnight service at minimal expense. Despite the fact our company’s primary
market is the south central U.S., we still provide national coverage to a
variety of security professionals and the builders contract hardware trade.
While continuing to expand our markets, we also have grown
our inventories to over 12,000 items and 80 manufacturers. We have
continued to stay “leading edge” in our offerings with the rapid
changes occurring in the industry from mechanical to electronic security.
We also stay abreast of new computer technologies and continually stride
to be more efficient and improve our services to the customer.
While
Fairway may not always offer the best price, our focus is to provide all-around
customer satisfaction including technical support, training, quality products
and the best service in the industry.
